Musee Conti WAX Museum

Legend & Window Room Specifications

Built in 1890, The WAX is a perfect example of turn of the century French Quarter architecture: cypress windows, spot sandblasted brick walls, original heartwood pine floors, exposed wooden white-washed beams with indirect lighting and a skylight for accent. The WAX can accommodate up to 300 for seated dinners & 500 for standing cocktail.

The Legend room, located above the Museum, is 3787 Square feet (63' - 4" Wide x 59'- 9.5" Deep; Ceiling Height: 11'6" with 6 supporting columns spaced 15' 5" apart). The Legend & Window Rooms are completely open with the exception of columns running down the center of the room. The Window Room is 638 Square feet and is connected to the Legend Room. The Window Room overlooks the street and is designed to serve as a dance floor, buffet room or small dining area (20 to 50 people seated & 75 standing) when The Legend Room is in use.
